"I actually felt I played well enough to win but in round one I had to get rid of a bit of rust after so many weeks off. I also didn't take into account the fact we were playing at altitude until I was 5 over through 12 in my first round. I hit it over the back on just about every hole but then on my 12th on Thurs I decided to take 10% off and then I was back in the ballgame. I missed two putts on my last two holes of the final round from under 5 feet so that was a little disappointing."
Like many others Brendan was forced to complete his third round today after the event was reduced to 54 holes because of weather issues.
Brendan now travels to the Narita area for this week's Suntory Open.             |
Brendan has recovered from a slow start on Thursday to finish 15th at the Fujisankei Classic at the base of Mt Fuji.
