A strong finishing round of 64 has seen Brendan finish in a share of second at the Golf Nippon Series in Tokyo.
Defending his title Brendan started his final round slowly but began to move through the field when he birdied the 6th, 7th and 8th holes to turn at 7 under. Although three shots behind the leader, Jeev Milkha Singh at that point he was still a chance to catch the fine Indian player but while Brendan continued to move forward, Singh stayed solid and held on to win by two over Brendan, David Smail and Taichi Teshima.
Brendan will now head for Sydney where he will play next week's Australian Open.
Brendan has finished 10th on the Japan Golf Tour money list with ¥76,294,999 or $A1.27 million.
