Having won the event on three previous occasions and with two or three other top ten finishes, Brendan is looking forward to his return to the Yamanohara Country Club west of Osaka for this week's Tsuruya Open.
One of Brendan's victories came at another venue but this layout has been good to him and having dusted off some rust last week at the season opening Token Homemate Cup he is keen to get into action this week.
"The weather was certainly a lot better today than was the case for much of last week and I actually hit the ball well," said Brendan on the eve of the tournament. "I have played well here in the past and hopefully that can continue this week."
Brendan has an afternoon tee time on day one when he will play with Kaname Yokoo and Kiyoshi Miyazato.
