Brendan has just made it through to the weekend at the at the ANA Open after a horror day on the greens in round two of the event near Sapporo in Hokkaido.

After a disappointing start to the event yesterday when he also struggled with the putter it got even worse today, a four putt leading to a double bogey at his 13th hole and then missing a very short putt for birdie at the last. 

When the double bogey came it put Brendan outside the cutline but he ws able to birdie his very next hole the par five 14th (he started at the 10th today) but he could make no further progress from there.

"I really need to work on my putting," said a frustrated Brendan after his round. "It was very bad. At least I get a chance to work on that over the weekend. One thing's for sure it can only get better!"
