" I drove the ball in the middle of the fairway and then found the bunker with my second," he said. "I hit a good trap shot but missed the putt."
Brendan played well through the front nine but was unable to convert the chances he was creating for himself. Things made a dramtic turn for the better however when he birdied four consecutive holes from his 11th hole and at four under and with a par five to come, he was looking good.
He missed the chance at the par five 17th and then the bogey at the last put a dampener on what otherwise had been a promising day.
Brendan has a 1.28 tee time in round two. |

After playing his way into contention early on the back nine of his
round today, Brendan was annoyed at himself when taking bogey at the
last hole of his opening round of the BC Open at the Atunyote Golf Club
in Verona New York.
