Despite his share of frustrations over the opening two days of the Dunlop Phoenix tournament in Miyazaki in southern Japan, Brendan is only five shots behind the leader Tomohiro Kondo at the halway mark.
"I struggle a little with this course and don't feel all that comfortable on it but I figure I still have a chance. "I have been putting poorly although the greens are a little bumpy and with the pins as tight as they are it is a little difficult to create a lot of birdie opportunities. The scores overall reflect that."
Brendan will be keen to finish this event off well before heading to China on Monday where he will team up with Richard Green to represent Australia at the World Cup of Golf at Mission Hills.
