A frustrating bogey at the last hole in today's second round of the Tsuruya Open was a disappointing way to finish for Brendan but heading into the weekend he is still well enough placed to challenge for his 4th Tsuruya Open title.

After an early bogey Brendan made the turn in 33 and with his early tee time was challenging for the lead at that point. A bogey at the 11th was a source of concern but birdies at the two par fives on the back nine, the 15th and 17th, and he was right in the firing line. Unfortunately he would bogey the last.

Brendan is in a share of 8th position at 6 under and six behind the leaderYui Ueda who has established a three shot lead.

"Of course I am disappointed with the late bogey but I did play pretty solidly so hopefully that will continue over the weekend," said Brendan after his round.

Brendan will play in the third to last group tomorrow.
