Despite what he described as an horrific day on the greens, Brendan is still well placed at the Token Homemate Cup in Nagoya as the tournament enters the weekend. "I missed five putts under five feet but was really happy with the way I played from tee to green," said Brendan tonight.
Brendan is in a share of 5th position at 4 under and three behind fellow countryman Craig Parry, Tadahiro Takayama and Machiro Matsumura.
Brendan opened with a birdie at the first on day two but a bogey at the 4th and at his final hole of the day saw him finish with 72. His putting total for day two as 35 which is almost unheard of at this level, in fact he had only three one putts in his round.
Brendan plays in the second to last group on Saturday with Shigeki Maruyama and Yui Ueda. |
