Brendan has finished 22nd at the Mitsubishi Diamond Cup, his final round of 71 somewhat of a roller coaster with five birdies and four bogies. For Brendan it ends a three week stretch of events and he now heads back to Canberra for a month long break.

The next event Brendan will play on the Japan Golf Tour will be the UBS Japan Golf Tour Championship before he, his wife Adele and son Kieran then head for the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, an event in which he gets a start via his high finish on the Japan Golf Tour money list in 2007. Brendan will then play at the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron before playing the PGA Championship at Oakland Hills.

Brendan leaves for Canberra in 11th place on the Japan Golf Tour money list with earnings of ￥17,900,000.
