Brendan will combine with Richard Green to represent Australia in the Teams competition over four days during which both the Fourball and Foursomes format will be rotated.
The winning team will share US1.76 million.
"It's a great honour to represent my country at the professional level," said Brendan from Canberra today before departing for Japan where he will play this week's Asia Pacific Panasonic Open, his first event since the USPGA Championship. "I managed to play for Australia at an amateur level and to be invited into this team is a great thrill." |
