The four day Pro am event at four of Sydney's best layouts offers the chance to keep his game in shape and it offers the opportunity to get some competitive tournament golf under his belt before the first Japan Golf Tour event on April 12th.
The Sydney Invitational is played at the Twin Creeks, McQuarie Links, Terrey Hills and Lakes courses in Sydney and Brendan will be keen to continue what has been some good form he has shown in the two early events co sanctioned with the Nationwdie Tour and in several pro am events since.
Brendan has won two Pro Am events in recent weeks the first of those at the Murrumbidgee Country Club in early march and the second at the Magpies Belconnen event in Canberra in mid March. At the Belconnen event he shot a round of 63 to win by two.
Brendan has also recorded a third and fourth place finish in other similar events and feels very good about his game at present. "Everything seems to be in pretty good shape at present. I have a little bit of a cold at the moment but that aside every thing else is going well. The chance to play at the four different courses in the Sydney area will be a great way to prepare myself for the Token Homemate Cup in Japan in mid April.
The Sydney event starts on March 26th. |
