Brendan has made a solid start to the Tokai Classic in Nagoya and as round two draws to a close he is within three shots of the joint 36 hole leaders, Korean Sung Joon Park and Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat. "I played really well from tee to green," said Brendan soon after his round. "The putts did not fall but am happy with where I am heading into the weekend." Showery rain was a factor yesterday but today the weather improved but the long rough has taken its toll on the field. Brendan bogeyed his final hole today after catching a flier with his second from the rough and was unable to get up and down from the greenside bunker. Still, he is well enough placed to make his move over the weekend.             |
