A second round of five under par 66 has seen Brendan move into a share of 17th place but only four shots behind the joint leaders, Craig Parry and Brett Rumford.
Brendan had raced to the turn in 31 today and at that stage was 5 under for the tournament and when he birdied his 11th hole he was at 6 under and challenging for the lead. Three bogeys over the next seven holes were countered by two birdies but it was a sluggish end to a fast start.

In his first tournament back since the Nippon Series event in Tokyo in early December, Brendan is well placed after 36 holes of the Jacob's Creek Open at Adelaide's Kooyonga Golf Club.
