Given that it was the first event in his last seven starts where Brendan has actually completed all four rounds in a tournament it suggests that the finish to his 2006 season could well turn an ordinary year around.
"Earlier in the week I had actually been playing a little better than the scores had been sugggesting so it was nice to post a reasonable number today," said Brendan at the coonpletion of the event. "I was not sharp earlier and that was perhaps a reflection on the fact that I have not had a lot of tournament golf in the last couple of months. To be able to get four rounds in and finish the way I did was very encouraging." |

A final round of 69 in this week's Japan Open, which included five birdies on a day where birdies were not all that easy to come by, has Brendan headed for next week's Bridgestone Open in Chiba in good heart about his game.
