"I had 9 putts on the back 9," said an almost unbelieving Brendan from his hotel room in Hiroshima after his round. "That is definitely a record for me. I played well for most of the day but bogeyed the 8th and 9th but then chipped in on 10, putted in from off the green on 11 & played very well the rest of the way home."
Despite his impressive finish, Brendan has lost a place on the Japan Golf Tour money list, sliipping to third after this week's winner, Toru Taniguchi, won a playoff against Prayad Marksaeng to win the title and move to second on the money list behind Korean, Dong Hwan Lee. |
