Brendan has finished in a share of 22nd position at the Sega Sammy Cup in Hokkaido.

Starting the day in 25th position, Brendan moved to the edge of contention today when he reached the turn in three under and at that point was just four behind the leader. He was unable to manitain the momentum on the way in, the par fives again a problem as they had been all week. Normally his strength, Brendan played the twenty par fives this week in a total of three under.

"It was a frustrating week," said Brendan soon after his round. "The course was saturated so much that the ball was spinning back like it does on the PGA Tour."

Brendan retains his 5th position on the Japan Golf Tour money list. 

Brendan stays in Hokkaido this week for the Sun Chlorella Classic an even he has won previously albeit at another venue than that which will be used this week. "I have played this new venue just once and can hardly recall it but my caddy tells me it will suit me."
