Frustrating weekend at Tsuruya Open
Written by Bruce Young
Sunday, 24 April 2011
Brendan has finished in a share of 21st at this week's Tsuruya Open but it was a week that got away on him during the course of Saturday's third round. In a rush to get round three finished after a delay for bad weather, Brendan produced two consecutive double bogeys after having worked his way into contention.

Brendan put together a final round of 68 today which included a signficant improvement in putting but the damage had been done in terms of contending in the tournament. It was a solid enough week but one that was all but destroyed on Saturday.

One positive that came out of the weekend was that improved performance on the greens for which will hopefully flow onto next week's event.

Brendan now heads back north to Nagoya for this coming week's Crowns Tournament before heading back home to Canberra for  short break.

Brendan has played the Crowns on several occasions with a best finish of 4th in 2004.
