It was not a particularly good end to the season for Brendan at this past week's Golf Nippon Series JT Cup at the Tokyo Yomiuri Golf Club in Tokyo but with the Japan Golf Tour season now finished he can focus his attention on the J.B. Were Masters at the Victoria Golf Club in a week's time. Brendan finished 24th in what became a 54 hole event after weather washed out day three and finished the Japan Golf Tour season in 15th position on the money list. Brendan had made a good start to the tournament on Thursday but from there on it was hard work for him. He had a horror patch in the middle of his round on the final day but did finish strongly giving him at least some positive final thoughts to take with him. It has been another solid season overall highlighted by the win the Crowns, a 4th place finish in the very first event of the season and a very good tournament at the Dunlop Phoenix where he finished 5th. Brendan will spend this week in Canberra before heading down to Melbourne. |
