Brendan is playing the Mitsubishi Diamond Cup at the Higashi Hirono Golf Club near Kobe this week, his last event before a break back in Canberra.

Brendan has played this event previously but it is the first time he will play the Higashi Hirono layout, the course being used on only one or two occasions previously for this event but not in a year when Brendan has played.

"The course is very good and will be very difficult," said Brendan today. "We are meant to get some rain in the morning which will soften the greens up...... I hope. They are certainly very firm at present. 

Brendan arrives off his worst finish of the season at last week's Munsingwear Open and will be keen to finish this stretch of three events off well before heading for a month long break.
