Brendan started the day shakily with a bogey at the second hole but reeled off four consecutive birdies to put himself in a position for a top five finish and perhaps better.
Three bogies over the closing nine put paid to any of those ideas however and he finished in a share of 10th with four other players.
Brendan has dropped to fourth place on the money list after today's winner, Toshi Izawa, moved ahead of him.
Brendan will now play the Munsingwear Open KSB Cup in Okayama west of Osaka.             |
Brendan has finished in 10th place at the Japan PGA Championship in Okinawa after a final round of 72.
