Brendan finds himself nine shots from the lead at the halfway mark of the Crowns tournament in Nagoya, a second round of 71 slipping him down the field from 28th after round one to 34th.
In Brendan's favour is that while he is nine shots from the lead he is only six shots out of second position and a better display on the greens over the final 36 holes could well ensure another good weekend to follow his 4th place finish last week.
Brendan's day was disrupted when he got his tee time confused. "I got my tee time stuffed up today and arrived at the course 3 hours early. I was tired teeing off and played pretty bad. Happy to make the cut after playing the way I did. Looking forward to moving up the leaderboard on the weekend."
In yesterday's opening round Brendan recovered from a slow start with a final nine of 32 but today it was somewhat of a roller-coaster, matching birdies with bogeys for much of the round.
