Brendan plays the Coca Cola Tokai Classic at the Miyoshi Country Club's West Course in Nagoya this week, his first time in the event since 2001.

"It's been a scheduling thing as much as anything for not being here since that initial year but the golf course then just didn't seem to suit me then so I am looking forward to seeing how I feel about it now."  

After a solid return to tournament play at last week's Asia Pacific Open in Nagoyoa ,where he got rid of most of the rust accrued during his seven week break, Brendan is closing in on the sort of form that gave him such a good finish to his season in 2007.  "I wasn't all that confident from round two onwards but the final round of 66 has given me some hope. There is still a lot of improvement necessary however."

Brendan has a 9.29 tee time on day one.
