Tough set up at Japan Open
Written by Bruce Young

Brendan has taken his first look at the Aichi Country Club in Nagoya, venue for this week's Japan Open Championship.

"As usual for this event the Japan Golf Association have set this golf course up as a tough test," said Brendan from Nagoya on Tuesday evening. "The profiling of the fairways will make them very tough to hit and so we are in for a demanding week."

Brendan has yet to win this event which is considered by many as the most prestigious on the Japan Golf Tour. He is keen to add this event to the many other successes he has had in his Japan Golf Tour career to date.

Brendan's best finish to date at the Japan Open came in 2008 when he finished third behind Shingo Katayama and Ryo Ishikawa at the Koga Golf Club in Fukuoka.
