With weather delays caused by morning storms at the Asia Pacific Panasonic Open near Osaka, Brendan will be forced to return early on day two of the event to complete his first round.
When darkness forced the field from the course this evening, Brendan was 2 under for the day and 6 under for the tournament and within three of the current leader Kaname Yokoo.
"I've had lots of chances but haven't been able to make anything although I did hole a bunker shot for eagle at my 9th hole, the 18th which broke the drought," said Brendan from his hotel tonight.
Yokoo, an ex PGA Tour player, dropped shots over the closing stages of his round and Brendan will have the chance in the morning to creep closer to the 36 hole lead.
Footnote When Brendan returend to the course on Saturday morning he dropped two shots early but then picked up an all important birdie at the final hole of round two and as round three gets underway he is four shots behind the leader. |
